Plasmapp (CEO Youbong Lim) announced on the 7th that it participated in Arab Health 2023 held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for four days from the 30th to the 3rd of last month.

Arab Health 2023 is the Dubai International Medical Device Exhibition, the largest in the Middle East and Africa, and is considered a representative medical device exhibition along with Germany's MEDICA.

Super buyers with strong purchasing power in the Middle East are known to participate, and last year, 3,500 companies from 68 countries participated and about 60,000 people attended. In particular, it is said that there was a lot of enthusiasm for participation among domestic companies this year, as it had just attracted $30 billion worth of investment from the UAE to Korea.

An official from Plasmapp said, “We secured more than 500 visitors at the Arab Health Exhibition for 4 days, and received orders from 11 companies on the day of the event alone,” adding, “7 of those orders were for a short-term supply contract of 1 year and a mid- to long-term supply contract of 3 years. “We secured orders worth approximately 2.5 billion won through the contract,” he said.

CEO Youbong Lim said, “Including contracts signed through Arab Health, we have achieved a cumulative order amount of KRW 322 billion with 59 customers, of which the order backlog is KRW 308 billion, which is already more than 90% of the 2023 sales target of KRW 40 billion. “We received the order,” he emphasized.

CEO Lim said that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) certification and successful business performance in the U.S. market prove that the business is rapidly expanding into the Middle East and Asian markets, and that the contract signed at this Arab Health Exhibition is once again positive in the global market. It was expected that this would have a positive impact and increase the growth potential of Plasmapp.
